What to Expect on Your First Visit
After completing our straight forward initial new patient evaluation, you will be given a tour of the office which will finish in our exam and x-ray room. In order for us to determine if there is a problem present and whether or not I can help correct the problem I first begin with a full evaluation including a posture evaluation, range of motion tests, palpation findings, and full spine x-rays. I will also do a complete and extensive history so that I can understand your activities and traumas that may or may not have caused or contributed to the problem at hand. 99% of the time I do not adjust on the first visit because I want to take my time to review the findings from our evaluation so that I may determine a course of action. I would never want to rush into your care and not provide the highest level of service and care that you deserve. You will be invited to return as early as the next day to review your exam findings with me in a one-on-one setting. I set aside adequate time so that we can take our time in talking about and explaining the findings and the appropriate course of correction. After we agree on a plan of action, we will be able to begin care right away.
